Samsung has begun beta testing One UI 5, the next version of its skin for mobile devices. It will be based on Android 13, the most recent version of the operating system released by Google.
These beta testing phases usually last for at least a few weeks, but naturally everyone is curious about the release date for the finalized One UI 5 build. That's when the Galaxy S22 models will allegedly start receiving the update.
That's a very specific piece of information, especially for a software release, which could always be hampered by unforeseen bugs. It's also coming from a source with no track record, so it's best to take everything with a grain of salt right now.
October seems like a reasonable timeline - 10 weeks of testing should be enough to iron out any potential links.
