People have been clamouring for a way to edit tweets for years, possibly since Twitter's inception. And now, there is finally one - and it is currently being tested.
The edit button is expected to be more widely available before the end of the month. Still, it's a significant step forward for Twitter.
It's also where you can get a first look at new features, such as the upcoming edit button. The test will be "limited to one country at first" and will expand as Twitter learns how people use it. The company promises to "pay close attention to how the feature affects how people read, write, and interact with" tweets.
Twitter Blue is a test that allows you to see if a tweet has been edited or not.
