According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP camera with an entirely new ISOCELL sensor. Leakster IceUniverse claims the camera will have 0.6m pixels on a 1/1.3 sensor with a front aperture of f-1.7. And today we have more information from noted leakster IceUniverse, who has a good track record with Samsung.
This is distinct from the ISOCELL HP1 or ISOCELL HP3 modules, which are the market's current 200MP camera sensors. The HP1 measures 1/1.22 and has 0.64m pixels, so the new sensor will fit between them.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will inherit the camera design from the S22 Ultra and will retain the predecessor's existing 10MP periscope module, which first appeared on the S21 Ultra.
