Some Apple retail store employees have been told to brace themselves for a September 16 release date. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, a September 7 launch event could be followed by a September 16 release date.
Since the pandemic began, Apple has held its annual launch event in September every year, which has since switched to a hyper-polished and highly produced livestream event. Apple employees are also said to have started recording segments for the virtual presentation of the event.
Apple is expected to release four new iPhone 14 models, as well as new Mac computers, iPads, and an Apple Watch. The iPhone mini model will be dropped from the iPhone 14 lineup. There will be two models with 6.1-inch displays and two models that have 6.7-inch screens.
The iPhone 14 models will feature a refreshed notch design and a larger camera island. The iPhone 14 Pro model is rumoured to have an always-on display.
