Apple has issued a beta firmware update for the AirPods 2, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods Max. Apple has issued a beta firmware update for the AirPods. It has the version number 5B5040c, but it's unclear what's new with this update because Apple hasn't provided any details.

You can get the new beta firmware from Apple's Developer Center and install it on your AirPods by pairing them with an iPhone and connecting them to a Mac using a Lightning cable.
