Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, as well as the Pixel Watch, will be released later this year. The timing of this announcement has nothing to do with Apple's big fall event tomorrow. Google also announced two other smartphones at its I/O developer conference in May.
Google will unveil new devices on October 6 at 10 a.m. ET. You can sign up for updates and add the date and time of the event to your calendar.
The company has also revealed the name of the new chipset that will power the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which will be called Tensor G2 rather than Tensor 2. Perhaps "G" for Google?
Finally, Google revealed the colour options for the upcoming devices. The company also revealed the colour options for both devices, which will be available in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow colours. As a result, the Pixel 7 will be available in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow colours, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be available in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow colours.
